# Run a Voice Calling Campaign From Airtable (n8n Template, 2026)

Airtable is a favourite "ops database" for lean teams — and it makes a great control panel for an AI voice campaign. With **n8n**, an Airtable base of contacts becomes a calling workflow: trigger calls from records, capture live call events, and log every outcome back to the base.

Here's the ready **n8n template**.

## What the template does

The **Airtable Campaign** template runs this flow:

1. **Airtable trigger** — fires when a record is added or updated (e.g. a new contact, or status set to "Call").
2. **Filter** — only acts on records that should be dialed.
3. **Initiate call** — calls the voice agent API for that record.
4. **Webhook (call events)** — receives real-time call events back from the platform.
5. **Update Airtable** — writes status, outcome, and any captured data to the record.

The difference from a simple "fire and forget" setup is step 4: Airtable reflects what actually happened on the call, not just that a call was started.

## Setup

### 1. Connect credentials in n8n
- **Voice agent API**: a **Header Auth** credential — header `Authorization`, value `Bearer vp_live_your_api_key` (from your dashboard, **Settings → API Keys**).
- **Airtable**: your Airtable personal access token / OAuth credential.

### 2. Trigger and dial
On the matching record, call the API:

### 3. Capture events and log back
Subscribe to call events (`/api/webhooks/subscriptions`) so the platform posts updates to your n8n **webhook** node, which then updates the Airtable record. Now your base shows live call status.
