# White-Label Voice AI Economics: ₹40,000/Month vs ₹2 Lakh One-Time (2026)

**White-label voice AI is profitable when the minutes you resell, times your client rate, comfortably exceed the plan price.** Edesy's two public partner plans are ₹40,000/month with 10,000 minutes, or ₹2,00,000 one-time with 50,000 minutes and a dedicated server. At an example client rate of ₹7/min, the monthly plan breaks even at roughly 5,715 minutes.

If you are still deciding whether to resell at all, start with [white-label AI voice agents for agencies](https://edesy.in/blog/white-label-ai-voice-agent-agencies-india-2026), which covers positioning and what to look for in a provider. This post is only the money: costs, break-even, client pricing and where margin leaks.

## The two plans side by side

All prices are ex-GST (18% GST is added).

| | Monthly partner plan | One-time partner plan |
|---|---|---|
| Price | ₹40,000 per month | ₹2,00,000 one-time |
| Minutes included | 10,000 per month | 50,000 |
| Cost per included minute (if fully used) | ₹4.00 | ₹4.00 |
| Server | Shared platform | Dedicated server |
| Commitment | Month to month | Upfront |
| Best for | Agencies building a client base | Agencies with steady volume |

The per-minute cost of included minutes is the same ₹4.00 in both plans **only if you use all of them**. That "if" is the whole business. Confirm overage terms and telephony with the partner team before you quote clients, and price telephony as its own line.

## What you get in the partner portal

The economics only work if you can run many clients without hand-holding each one. The portal is built for that:

- **Client workspaces**, one per client, with agents, numbers and call history kept separate.
- **Credit allocation** from your organisation's pool to each client.
- **Client rate or markup** per workspace, with **margin checks** so a client cannot be set below your cost.
- **Margin dashboard** showing what each client earns you.
- **Brand settings**: your name, logo, colour and support email, plus a **custom domain**.
- **Two billing models**: agency collects, or platform collects.

Your clients get the same product as direct customers: [three ways to build an agent](https://edesy.in/ai-voice-agent/features/three-ways-to-build), the [template gallery](https://edesy.in/ai-voice-agent/templates), [campaigns](https://edesy.in/ai-voice-agent/features/campaigns), [post-call extraction](https://edesy.in/ai-voice-agent/features/post-call-extraction) and workflows.

## Break-even math

**Break-even minutes = plan price ÷ your client rate per minute.**

These are **worked examples with example client rates**, not recommended prices.

| Example client rate | Monthly plan break-even | One-time plan break-even |
|---|---|---|
| ₹6/min | 6,667 min/month | 33,334 min |
| ₹7/min | 5,715 min/month | 28,572 min |
| ₹8/min | 5,000 min/month | 25,000 min |
| ₹10/min | 4,000 min/month | 20,000 min |

For context, a direct customer pays ₹6/min on pay as you go and from ₹4/min on the larger plans and credit packs (see [pricing](https://edesy.in/ai-voice-agent/pricing)). Your client rate has to be justified by what you add on top: setup, script writing, integrations, reporting and support in the client's language.

## Worked example: monthly plan

An agency has three clients on the monthly plan, all at an example rate of ₹7/min:

| Client | Minutes per month | Revenue at ₹7/min |
|---|---|---|
| Clinic chain, appointment reminders | 4,000 | ₹28,000 |
| Real estate developer, lead calls | 3,500 | ₹24,500 |
| D2C brand, COD confirmation | 2,000 | ₹14,000 |
| **Total** | **9,500** | **₹66,500** |

Plan cost ₹40,000. **Gross margin before telephony and staff: ₹26,500**, about 40%. The 9,500 minutes fit inside the 10,000 included.

Now the bad month: the D2C client pauses during a sale freeze. Minutes drop to 7,500, revenue to ₹52,500, margin to ₹12,500. The plan price does not drop. **Utilisation is the main risk on the monthly plan.**

## Worked example: one-time plan

An agency with steady volume buys the one-time plan and sells at an example ₹7/min. If it resells all 50,000 minutes, revenue is ₹3,50,000 against ₹2,00,000 paid, a gross margin of ₹1,50,000. The dedicated server also helps when you are quoting larger clients who want capacity that is not shared.

The risk here is time: the margin arrives only as the minutes are used. Model how many months it takes your current clients to use 50,000 minutes before you commit.

## Where agency margin leaks

1. **Unused included minutes.** Sell to fill the pool. A pilot client at 300 minutes a month does not move the numbers.
2. **Telephony priced in.** Quote telephony as a separate line so carrier cost changes do not come out of your margin.
3. **Premium voices.** If a client wants a premium or cloned voice, those add-on costs (for example ElevenLabs or a custom voice) should be priced through to them.
4. **Setup time.** Build each client from a template and use [Copilot](https://edesy.in/ai-voice-agent/features/copilot) to draft and edit agents by chatting, rather than writing every prompt by hand.
5. **Testing time.** Use [test scenarios and evals](https://edesy.in/ai-voice-agent/features/testing-and-evals) so a script change for one client does not need a day of test calls.
6. **Short calls.** Billing uses a 60-second pulse. A reminder campaign of 20-second calls bills full minutes, so price per call or per billed minute, not per talk-time minute.

## Which plan first

Most agencies start monthly, prove they can keep at least 6,000 to 7,000 minutes a month busy across clients, then move to the one-time plan when volume is predictable. If you are below that today, run your first clients on a direct plan, learn the delivery work, and switch when the numbers above clearly work.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What does Edesy's white-label voice AI cost?

There are two public partner plans: ₹40,000 per month with 10,000 minutes included, or ₹2,00,000 one-time with 50,000 minutes and a dedicated server. Prices are ex-GST; 18% GST is added. Telephony is planned separately.

### Which white-label plan should an agency pick?

The monthly plan suits agencies still building a client base, because the commitment is one month at a time. The one-time plan suits agencies that already have steady client volume and want a dedicated server and a lower upfront commitment per minute over time.

### How many minutes do I need to sell to break even?

Divide the plan price by your client rate per minute. At an example client rate of ₹7/min, the monthly plan breaks even at about 5,715 billed minutes and the one-time plan at about 28,572 minutes, before telephony and your own support costs.

### Can my clients see Edesy's name?

The partner portal has brand settings for your name, logo, colour and support email, and a custom domain, so clients work in your branded workspace.

### Who invoices the end client?

You choose. In the agency-collects model you bill your clients and Edesy bills you. In the platform-collects model the platform collects from the client at the rate you set.

### How do I stop a client being priced below my cost?

Set a client rate or a markup per client workspace. The portal runs margin checks against your cost and shows your margin per client on the margin dashboard.
