# Pricing and Wallet

> Missed call pricing in India, GST, the prepaid wallet, refunds for undelivered events, and exactly what happens when your balance runs low.

What is charged and what is not:

- The **caller** never pays: the call is rejected before it is answered.
- With **no webhook** set, you pay only the number rental. Every call is still in the log and CSV.
- Only events **delivered** to a webhook are charged. If all 6 attempts fail, the charge is refunded to your wallet automatically. [Replays](https://edesy.in/docs/missed-call/guides/retries-and-replay) are free.
- A **one-time setup fee may apply** to some numbers. It is shown in the buy dialog before you confirm.
- New accounts get a Rs 20 welcome credit. There is no free trial.

## The wallet

Rentals, prepaid terms and per-event charges come from a prepaid wallet.

- Recharge on the **Wallet** page with Razorpay, from **Rs 10**.
- Add your **GSTIN** to get a GST invoice you can use for input tax credit.
- Prepaid terms can auto-renew from the wallet; turn it on or off per number on the **Plan** page.

## When the balance runs low

If your wallet cannot cover the Rs 0.30 for an event when a call comes in:

1. **The call is still captured.** It appears in the missed-call log and the CSV export with delivery status `withheld`.
2. **The webhook is not sent** for that call, and you are not charged for it.
3. **The account owner is emailed** that events are being withheld, so you can recharge.

Withheld events are **not delivered later**, even after you top up, and they cannot be replayed because they were never queued. To recover them, filter the log or the API by `status=withheld` and export them as CSV:

To avoid this during a campaign, keep a buffer in the wallet, or move busy numbers to Unlimited, where events within fair use cost nothing.

## When the rental is overdue

Number rentals are taken from the wallet. If a rental is overdue, recharge the wallet to restore the number; until then, prepaid plan purchases for it return `number_not_active`.
