# Pricing and Limits

Voice API calls cost **Rs 0.50 per minute** with a 60-second pulse, inbound or outbound, and unanswered calls are free. You also pay monthly rental for each number you hold. There is no setup fee and no minimum commitment. All prices are in Indian rupees and exclude 18% GST.

## Call pricing

Text you have spoken with `text` or the VoiceML `say` verb is metered by character. Audio you host yourself (`play`) and audio from your own bot (Media Streams) carry no TTS charge.

Each call's price appears as `price` (with `amount` and `currency`) on `GET /v1/calls/{CallSid}` once the call ends.

Conversation Relay runs speech recognition and synthesis on the Edesy side, so it is priced separately. Ask us through [/contact](https://edesy.in/contact) before you plan volume on it.

## Number rental

## Wallet

Calls are paid from a prepaid INR wallet that you top up with Razorpay. Charges are deducted in real time. If the balance is too low, `POST /v1/calls` returns `402 INSUFFICIENT_BALANCE`. ## Limits

| `text` length | Up to 2,000 characters |
| `caller_name` | Up to 50 characters |
| `custom_parameters` | Up to 20 keys and 2 KB of JSON |
| Concurrent calls (channels) and calls per second | Set per workspace. Over the limit returns `429` with a `Retry-After` header. Extra channels can be added from the Billing page |
| List page size | `per_page` default 20 |
