# Business Hours and Allowed Domains

> Limit when the click-to-call widget takes calls, which websites can load it, which countries visitors can call from, and how many calls it places.

Four settings control when and where the Edesy click-to-call widget places calls. Business hours, with a timezone, decide when it accepts callback requests. Allowed domains decide which websites can load it. Allowed countries decide which visitor numbers it accepts. Daily and concurrent call limits cap how many calls it places, so a busy page cannot flood your team.

## Settings

| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Business hours | Off (always available) | Start and end time (HH:MM) and the days of the week the widget accepts requests |
| Timezone | `Asia/Kolkata` | Timezone the business hours are read in |
| Offline message | "We are currently offline. Please try again later." | Shown outside business hours |
| Allowed domains | Empty (any site) | Websites allowed to load the widget. Subdomains of a listed domain are included |
| Allowed countries | India (`IN`) | Visitor numbers must belong to an allowed country. Indian numbers start with `+91` |
| Max concurrent calls | 5 (range 1 to 100) | Calls in progress at once for this widget |
| Daily call limit | 100 (range 1 to 10,000) | Calls per day for this widget |

## Business hours

1. **Turn on business hours** in the widget settings.
2. **Set the start and end time,** for example 09:00 to 18:00.
3. **Pick the days** the widget is open.
4. **Check the timezone.** Hours are compared with the current time in that timezone.

Outside these hours, or on a closed day, the widget shows your offline message and does not place a call.

## Allowed domains

Add each website where you embed the widget, for example `example.com`. A request from `www.example.com` or `shop.example.com` also matches. Leave the list empty to allow any site.

## Call limits

When the widget already has the maximum number of calls in progress, or has reached its daily limit, new requests are refused until a call ends or the next day starts. Set the concurrent limit to the number of people who can answer at once.

## FAQ

### What happens outside business hours?

The visitor sees your offline message instead of a callback form, and no call is placed.

### Which timezone is used?

The one set on the widget. The default is `Asia/Kolkata` (IST).

### Can I set different hours for different days?

You choose one start and end time and the days it applies to. Days you leave out are closed.

### Why add allowed domains?

So another website cannot copy your embed code and use your widget, and your minutes, to request calls.

### Do allowed domains cover subdomains?

Yes. A listed domain also matches its subdomains.

### Can visitors outside India use the widget?

The country check currently recognises Indian numbers, which start with `+91`. For other countries, ask us on the [contact page](https://edesy.in/contact).

### What should I set the concurrent limit to?

The number of team members who can answer at the same time, so each bridged call has someone to talk to.

### Are the limits per widget or per account?

Per widget. Each widget has its own concurrent and daily limits.
