# Connect WooCommerce to Convo AI

Connecting WooCommerce gives Convo AI access to your store's data, so conversations can use order and customer details. Install the [chat widget](https://edesy.in/docs/wordpress/install) as well, so customers can reach you on the store.

## Step 1: Create WooCommerce API keys

1. In WordPress, go to **WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API**.
2. Click **Add key**.
3. Enter a description such as "Convo AI", choose an admin user and set **Permissions** to **Read/Write**.
4. Click **Generate API key**.
5. Copy the **Consumer key** and **Consumer secret**. WooCommerce shows the secret only once.

## Step 2: Connect the store in Convo AI

1. Sign in to [Convo AI](https://convo.edesy.in).
2. Open **Settings → Integrations → WooCommerce**.
3. Enter your **Store URL** (for example `https://yourstore.com`), the **Consumer Key** and the **Consumer Secret**.
4. Test the connection, then save.

## Keep the keys safe

- The consumer secret gives access to your store data. Share it only in the Convo AI dashboard.
- To disconnect later, revoke the key in **WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API**.

## Having trouble?

- **Connection fails:** check that the Store URL uses `https://` and is the public address of your store.
- **Permission errors:** make sure the key's permission is Read/Write and belongs to an admin user.
- **Security plugins or firewalls:** allow requests to the WooCommerce REST API (`/wp-json/wc/`).
