Most small teams don't need a CRM to use AI calling. They need the results in a Google Sheet by the time they sit down to follow up. Edesy can write each call's outcome, the fields the agent captured, a short summary and follow-up flags to a sheet automatically, or send them through Zapier or a webhook. Many businesses on our platform start exactly this way: a list in one sheet, results in another, callbacks sorted by date.

What a results sheet looks like
| Date | Phone | Name | Outcome | Promised date | Summary | Follow up |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 26 Sep, 11:02 | 98xxxxx210 | Ramesh | will_pay | 30 Sep | Said salary delayed, will pay Monday | No |
| 26 Sep, 11:04 | 91xxxxx780 | Lakshmi | callback | - | Busy, asked for call after 6 pm | Yes |
The columns come from the data fields you define on the agent: outcome, dates, answers, scores. See score every AI call automatically.
Three ways to get results into Sheets
- Direct Google Sheets integration: results written after each call. Simplest.
- Zapier: when you want to transform data or send it to several places at once.
- Webhook: your developer receives the call result and writes it wherever you need.
Design the sheet around the next action
- One outcome column with a small set of values, so filters work.
- A follow-up column (yes/no) so the team knows what to do.
- A date column for promised payments, visits or callbacks, so you can sort by it.
- A short summary, not the full transcript; the recording and transcript stay in the call log.
Daily workflow
- Filter follow-up = yes, sort by date.
- Call back or act on each row.
- Mark done in a status column.
- Re-run a campaign for "callback" rows at the time they asked.
From sheet to CRM
When several people work the same leads, or you need a history per customer, move results to HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM or GoHighLevel, which Edesy writes to directly. Many teams keep a sheet for daily triage even after adding a CRM.
The other direction
To start calls from a sheet (add a row → the agent calls), see trigger AI voice calls from Google Sheets. Together, the sheet becomes a simple calling system: list in, results out.
Privacy
A sheet with phone numbers and call notes is personal data. Share it only with people who need it, and avoid putting sensitive details (health, loan specifics) in summaries. See DPDP compliance for voice AI.
