KYC

KYC for the Edesy Voice API - required before buying Indian numbers. Business types, documents (PAN, Aadhaar), API endpoints and review time.

2 min read

Indian telecom rules require Edesy to verify who uses each number, so KYC must be approved before you can buy a number. You submit your business details and documents (PAN and Aadhaar, plus business documents where they apply) in the portal or through the API, and review usually takes about 24 hours. Until KYC is approved, number purchases return 403 KYC_NOT_APPROVED.

Tips#

  • Use the same legal name and GSTIN as your billing profile so invoices match.
  • Submit early: you can build and test against the API while review is in progress, but you need an approved KYC to buy the number your calls come from.
