Extension Codes: One Masked Number, Many People

Extension codes let a single masked number reach any number of people. Switch a masked number to extension routing, then create an extension for each person, vehicle, parcel or flat: a 4 to 10 digit code linked to one target number. A caller dials the masked number, hears a short prompt, enters the code followed by the hash key and is connected. Both sides see only the masked number. Each extension also comes with a ready-made tel: link (for example tel:+918045678901,,482193#) that sends the code automatically, and the masking portal turns it into a QR code you can download as a PNG and print with the code next to it. Codes can be created inactive for pre-printed tags and switched on when the tag is sold, and the target number can be changed at any time without reprinting. You pay the masking rate only for bridged time, from when the target answers.
