One forwarding rule per virtual number decides which phones ring, in what order, for how long, what your team sees and what the caller hears. Here is every setting, its default and what it costs.
Edesy call forwarding rings a virtual business number on up to 5 of your team's phones, either all at once or one by one. You choose the ring time, the caller ID your team sees, a press-a-key screen, hold audio and sticky agent. Calls cost Rs 1.00 per connected minute plus number rental, excluding GST.
Everything a rule can do, and the default for each setting.
Ring all at once: every forward-to number rings together and the first to answer takes the call. Ring one by one: numbers ring in the order you list them until someone answers. Up to 5 numbers per rule, Indian mobile or landline. Ring all at once is the default.
Each number rings for 5 to 120 seconds (25 by default). With ring one by one, each number can have its own ring time (set in the Call handling card on voice-app.edesy.in or with the API) and every number after the first is a backup. A number that is busy, unanswered or unreachable moves the call to the next one. When the list runs out, the call ends.
Show your virtual number, so your team knows it is a business call, or the original caller's number, so they know who is calling. Some networks replace the original number with the virtual number. The call log always records the real caller.
Whoever picks up hears "You have a forwarded call. Press any key to accept." If no key is pressed, that phone is dropped and the call keeps trying the others, so a phone's voicemail can never take the call. On by default.
By default the caller hears normal ringing and is connected only when someone answers, so an unanswered call is free. Or play the built-in "please hold" message or your own MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG clip up to 8 MB, looped while it rings.
With ring one by one, a repeat caller is sent back to the person who answered them last time. Within the window you set (7 days by default, 1 hour to 1 year), the remembered number rings first and the rest of the list follows as backup. Turn it on in the Call handling card on voice-app.edesy.in or with the API. Off by default.
Turn off forwarding to hand the number back to what it did before, such as your voice agent or app, while keeping every setting for one-click switch-on. Pause a rule briefly, or delete it. Call logs are kept either way.
Every forwarded call is logged with the caller, the number that answered, duration, price and outcome. Turn recording on to keep audio in encrypted cloud storage. Analytics show call volume and answer rate over time.
Create and change rules, read call logs, stats and analytics, and upload hold audio with the REST API at https://voice-api.edesy.in/v1/forwarding. Authenticate with a Bearer API key. Every portal setting is also an API field.

Each setting above changes one step.
They hear normal ringing, or your hold audio if you turned it on.
All at once, or one by one in list order. With ring one by one and sticky agent on, a repeat caller's last answerer rings first.
Your virtual number by default, or the original caller's number.
With screening on, they press any key to accept. Voicemail never presses a key, so it cannot take the call.
The other phones stop ringing. If nobody answers in time, the call ends and, with connect on pickup, costs nothing.
It appears in your call logs with its price, at Rs 1.00 per connected minute from your wallet.
Send only the fields you are changing. This rings the team one by one for 20 seconds each, shows the caller's real number and sends repeat callers to the same person for 7 days.
