Workspaces and Roles

Run several Edesy workspaces, invite your team with owner, admin, member, viewer or billing roles, review the activity log and move or copy agents and numbers between workspaces.

A workspace holds agents, phone numbers, campaigns, workflows, credits and API keys. You can belong to several workspaces and switch between them. Each member has one of five roles: owner, admin, member, viewer or billing. An activity log records changes, and agents and numbers can be moved or copied between workspaces.

Roles#

Role Can do
Owner Everything, including deleting the workspace and assigning the owner role
Admin Everything except deleting the workspace: agents, campaigns, workflows, CRM, contacts, members, settings, credentials, SIP trunks, billing and analytics
Member Create and edit agents, campaigns and workflows (no delete); run campaigns; manage contacts; view CRM, members, settings and credentials; view analytics
Viewer Read-only access to agents, campaigns, workflows, CRM, contacts, members, settings, credentials and analytics
Billing Billing, payments, usage analytics and conversations only

Invite a member#

  1. Open Settings → Members.
  2. Click to invite, enter the email address and pick a role.
  3. The person accepts the invitation and joins the workspace.

Activity log#

The activity log shows who changed what and when, for example agent edits, member changes and settings updates. Use it to audit changes or find out why an agent behaves differently.

Move or copy between workspaces#

You can move or copy agents and phone numbers from one workspace to another.

Use this to split clients or teams into their own workspaces, or to copy a tested agent from a staging workspace to production.

Credits and keys per workspace#

  • Each workspace has its own credit balance and billing.
  • API keys are scoped to one workspace. See authentication.
  • BYOK provider keys are set per workspace. See BYOK.
  • New sign-ups get ₹50 free credit, no card needed.
