Etsy Fee Structure
Listing Fee

Transaction Fee

Minimum Price Calculation
Minimum Price = (Product Cost + Desired Profit) / (1 - Fee %)
Example:
Product cost: $15
Desired profit: $10
Fee rate: ~10%
Minimum = ($15 + $10) / 0.90 = $27.78
Including Shipping
Option 1: Charge actual shipping
- Show lower item price
- Higher shipping may deter buyers
Option 2: Free shipping (built in)
- Higher item price
- Better search ranking
- More transparent total
Price with Free Shipping = Item Price + Shipping + Fees on Shipping
If item is $25 and shipping is $5:
New price should be ~$31 to maintain margin
