Send Leads to Edesy CRM

Turn every missed call into a lead in Edesy CRM with a Custom webhook lead source and a one-time field mapping. No code.

Edesy CRM can receive missed calls as leads through its Custom webhook lead source. It takes a few minutes and no code. The CRM has a free plan and uses the same Edesy login.

1. Create the lead source in Edesy CRM#

  1. Sign in to crm.edesy.in.
  2. Go to Settings > Lead sources and add a new source.
  3. Choose Custom webhook ("Any tool that can POST JSON").
  4. Copy the inbound URL it shows. It looks like https://crm.edesy.in/api/lead-sources/in/ls_....

Treat this URL like a password: the token in it is the credential. You can rotate it from the lead source page if it leaks.

2. Paste it into the missed-call portal#

  1. In missedcall.edesy.in open Webhook.
  2. Paste the CRM URL and save. A secret is optional here; Edesy CRM identifies the source by the URL token.
  3. Press Send test. The CRM acknowledges it, and the test shows up in the lead source's activity.

3. Map the fields once#

Give your number a test missed call. The CRM flattens the nested JSON into dot paths, so the first event shows fields like data.from. On the lead source page, map:

Missed call field Edesy CRM field
data.from Phone
data.call_sid External ID

Fields you do not map, such as data.phone_number_name (the name of the number that was called), are kept on the lead as custom fields. That tells your team which campaign the lead came from.

4. Check it#

Give the number another missed call. A new lead appears in the CRM with the caller's number. Events the CRM could not map are still acknowledged and listed in the lead source's activity, so you can fix the mapping without losing track of them.

Notes#

  • On pay as you go each event delivered to the CRM costs Rs 0.30 (+GST), like any webhook delivery. Your missed-call log and CSV stay available as a backup.
  • Every missed call is a separate event, so a person who calls twice sends two events.
