How do I mirror a PDF for an iron-on transfer?

Add the PDF, choose Horizontal and download. Print the mirrored copy on the transfer paper; when it is ironed face down, the design reads the right way.

Will the flipped PDF be blurry?

How flipping a PDF works

A real mirror, not a rotation

Rotating can only turn a page by 90, 180 or 270 degrees. A mirror image swaps left and right, which no rotation can do. This tool redraws each selected page through a mirror, keeping the page size the same.

Because the content stays vector, text is still real text: you can select and search it, but it reads backwards, which is what a mirror image is.

Which way to flip

Horizontal: left and right swap. This is the one for iron-on and T-shirt transfers.
Vertical: top and bottom swap, like a reflection in water.
Both: looks the same as turning the page upside down. To just turn pages, use Rotate PDF.

What changes on flipped pages

Links, comments and fillable form fields cannot be mirrored with the page, so they are removed from flipped pages. Flatten the PDF first to keep form answers as part of the page.
