Your First Missed Call

Turn on missed-call routing, give your number a test missed call and find it in the log, the CSV and the API.

1. Check routing is on#

Open Numbers. A number bought in the missed-call portal is already set to missed-call routing. For a number from another Edesy app, switch it on with:

curl -X POST https://voice-api.edesy.in/v1/missed-calls/numbers/NUMBER_ID/enable \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer vp_your_api_key"

2. Give it a missed call#

Call the number from any phone. You hear a busy tone and the call ends straight away. Nothing is charged to your phone.

3. See it in the log#

Open Missed calls in the portal. The log refreshes every 10 seconds; your call appears with your number in +91... format, the time and the number you called. The dashboard counts it in today's total and unique callers.

If you have no webhook yet, the delivery status shows not_sent. That is expected.

4. Read it from the API (optional)#

curl "https://voice-api.edesy.in/v1/missed-calls?per_page=5" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer vp_your_api_key"
{
  "data": [
    {
      "call_sid": "CA_e5353a30-5f34-4582-bb9c-830ab7b513ef",
      "from": "+918273237781",
      "to": "+919484958085",
      "phone_number_id": "5e229f03-af3c-47f5-be45-5b11583a7c55",

      "delivery_status": "not_sent",
      "response_code": 0,
      "attempts": 0
    }
  ],
  "meta": { "page": 1, "per_page": 5, "total": 1 }
}

Create the API key first; see Authentication.
