WebP to JPG converts WebP images to JPG in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
How to Use#
- Drop one or more WebP images onto the tool. JPEG is already selected as the output, so each image converts as soon as you add it.
- Optional: move the Quality slider and click Reconvert to apply it.
- Download each JPG, or click Download All.
Things to know#
- Transparency: JPG can't store it, so transparent areas become white. Switch the output to PNG to keep transparency.
- Quality: 90% (the default) looks the same as the original for almost all photos. 70-80% gives smaller files for web and chat.
- Size limits: to get under a limit like 50 KB, run the JPG through Compress Image to Size.
- Animated WebP: only the first frame is converted.
