Rotate and Flip Image turns sideways photos upright, mirrors selfies and straightens tilted scans. Everything happens in your browser, so your images are not uploaded.
How to Use#
- Drop JPG, PNG or WebP images onto the tool. Add as many as you like.
- Click Left 90°, Right 90° or 180° to turn the images.
- Click Flip horizontal to mirror them or Flip vertical to turn them upside down as a reflection. Click Reset to undo everything.
- For a small tilt, drag the Angle slider (-180° to 180°, 1° steps) and pick a Corner fill: Transparent, White or Black.
- Click Download under each image, or Download all (ZIP) when you have more than one.
Things to know#
- One setting for all: the rotation and flip apply to every image in the list.
- Format: each image keeps its original format (JPG, PNG or WebP). Safari cannot save WebP, so there a WebP image downloads as PNG.
- Corners: a tilted image leaves empty corners. JPG has no transparency, so JPG files get white corners even when Transparent is selected.
- Size: a 90° turn swaps width and height. Each card shows the output size in pixels.
- Phone photos are read the right way up before rotating, so the result shows the same in every app.
- File limit: up to 50 MB per image.
- Privacy: images stay on your device.
Tips#
- Use Flip horizontal for front-camera selfies where text reads backwards.
- Very large images at a free angle can be too big for the browser to draw. A 90° turn or a smaller image avoids this.
