HEIC to JPG converts iPhone photos to JPG (or PNG) so they open on Windows PCs, Android apps and upload forms. The conversion runs in your browser, so your photos are not uploaded.
How to Use#
- Drop HEIC or HEIF photos onto the tool. Add as many as you like.
- Choose the Output format: JPG (default) or PNG.
- For JPG, set JPG quality (90% by default, 10-100%).
- Click Convert to JPG (or Convert to PNG). Each photo shows its progress and a preview when done.
- Click Download under a photo, or Download all (ZIP).
Things to know#
- Changing settings: if you change the format or quality after converting, photos show "Settings changed: convert again". Click the convert button again to apply.
- Metadata: converted files do not keep the date taken, camera or location.
- First run: the converter (about 1.3 MB) downloads once the first time you convert.
- PNG: lossless but much larger than JPG. Use JPG for sharing and upload forms.
- Privacy: photos are converted on your device.
Tips#
- 90% JPG quality is fine for almost every use. Lower it only if a form has a strict size limit, or run the JPG through Compress Image to Size.
- Each card shows the original size and the converted size, so you can check before downloading.
