Add Watermark to Image puts your name, website or logo on photos before you share them. Everything runs in your browser, so your photos are not uploaded.
How to Use#
- Drop one or more JPG, PNG or WebP photos onto the tool.
- Choose the Text or Logo tab.
- Text: type in Watermark text (it starts as "© Your Name"), set Font size and Colour.
- Logo: choose a file under Logo image and set Logo size.
- Adjust Opacity (50% by default) and Rotation (-45° to 45°).
- Pick a Position: one of nine spots such as Top left, Centre or Bottom right (the default), or Tile across image. Use Margin to move a placed mark away from the edge, or Spacing to spread tiles out.
- Click a file name in the list to preview it, then click Download for one photo or Download all (ZIP) for the batch.
Things to know#
- Size is relative: font and logo size are set as a % of image width, so the mark looks the same on photos of different sizes.
- Output: downloads keep the original resolution and format. WebP stays WebP where your browser can save WebP (Safari saves PNG instead). The preview is scaled down.
- Downloads are disabled until there is watermark text, or a logo has been chosen.
- File limit: up to 25 MB per photo.
- Privacy: photos and logos stay on your device.
Tips#
- The logo can be a PNG (transparent works best), WebP or JPEG. A transparent PNG looks cleanest.
- For proofs, tile a word such as SAMPLE or DRAFT at around 30-45° rotation so it is hard to crop out.
- White text at 40-60% opacity is visible on most photos without hiding the subject.
