Add Watermark to Image

Put your name, website or logo on your photos before you share them. Add one photo or a batch, choose a text or logo watermark, place it in a corner or tile it across the image, and download at the original resolution. Everything runs in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded.

When people use it

Photographers and creators

Add your name or handle to photos before posting them, so the credit travels with the image.

Product and property listings

Put your shop or agency logo on listing photos so they are harder to reuse without credit.

Sharing drafts and proofs

Tile a word such as SAMPLE or DRAFT across an image you send for review.

Watermarking photos well

Text or logo?

A text watermark is quickest: type your name, website or a copyright line and pick a colour that stands out against the photo. A logo watermark looks more polished. Use a PNG with a transparent background so only the logo shows, not a white box around it.

Corner mark or tiled pattern

  • A corner mark at 30-60% opacity credits you without spoiling the photo. Bottom right is the usual choice.
  • A corner mark is easy to crop off. If that matters, tile the mark across the image at an angle such as -30 degrees.
  • Tiling with a low opacity (20-35%) and wider spacing keeps the photo readable while still covering it.

Before and after watermarking

Crop first with Crop Image, then add the watermark so it sits where you expect. If the watermarked photo is too large for a form or chat, run it through Image Compressor. For documents, use PDF Watermark instead.
