Google review link FAQ

How do I find my Google review link?

Open your Google Business Profile and use Ask for reviews or Get more reviews to copy your link. Or find your Place ID with Google's Place ID finder and paste it here: the tool turns it into a direct link that opens the review box.

What is a Google Place ID?

A unique code Google gives every business listing, usually starting with ChIJ. It identifies your exact listing, so the review link always opens the right business.

Can I print the QR code?

Yes. The QR code downloads as a 600 x 600 pixel PNG, which prints clearly up to about 5 cm on bills, table tents and visiting cards. Test it with your phone before printing.

Is it okay to ask customers for Google reviews?

Yes, Google allows businesses to ask for reviews. Its rules forbid offering anything in return for a review and asking only the customers you expect to be happy, so ask everyone.

Does this show my Google reviews on my website?

No. It links to your review form. Showing your reviews needs Google's paid Places API, so this tool doesn't do that.

Where should the Rate us button appear?

On pages people see after a good experience with you, such as an order confirmation or thank-you page. Use Show on Pages to limit it to those paths.
