Kruti Dev is an old-style Hindi font: it draws Hindi letters in place of the English keys, so text typed with it is really letters like "Hkkjr" that only look like भारत when the Kruti Dev font is selected. Copy it into an email, a website, WhatsApp or a computer without the font and it shows as gibberish. Unicode Hindi (the Mangal or Nirmala font on Windows) stores the actual Hindi letters, so it shows correctly everywhere and can be searched.
