M4A to MP3 converts M4A audio to MP3 inside your browser. The files are never uploaded.
How to Use#
- Click Load Audio Engine. It downloads once and takes a few seconds.
- Add one or more M4A files (MP3 is already selected as the output) and click Convert.
- Download each MP3.
iPhone voice memos#
In Voice Memos, tap the memo, then Share > Save to Files. Open this page in Safari, add the file from Files and convert it.
Things to know#
- Converting re-encodes the audio. Speech sounds the same; for music, keep the M4A as your master copy.
- Files are processed in your browser's memory. A few hundred MB works on most computers; phones handle less. Split long recordings with the Audio Cutter first.
