A COD order comes into WooCommerce, we call the customer, they press 1 to confirm or 2 to cancel, and the answer is saved on the order as a note, a status change you choose, or a cancellation. During the pilot we set up the connection for you.
WooCommerce's built-in REST API and webhooks, no extra plugin during the pilot
WooCommerce orders don't have tags, so the answer is saved as an order note and, if you want, a status change.
An order note says the customer confirmed on the call. Optionally the status changes to the one you pick, such as Processing.
When the customer presses 2, the order status is set to Cancelled. Doing this twice is harmless.
After the last retry with no answer, a note flags the order so your team can follow up.
If you cancel the order in WooCommerce before we call, the call is skipped.
