Merge Videos

Join two or more videos into one MP4. Add the clips, put them in order and click Merge. Videos from different phones and apps are fitted to the same size, and clips without sound get silence so the sound stays in step. Everything runs in your browser, so your videos are never uploaded.

When people use it

Phone clips into one video

Join the clips from a trip, a function or an event into one video to share.

Split recordings

Put back together a screen or class recording that was saved in parts.

Intro and outro

Add the same opening and closing clip to a video before posting it.

Merging videos

Why some merges are instant

If every clip was recorded the same way, for example on the same phone with the same settings, the clips are copied one after another into a new file. That takes seconds and nothing is lost. If they differ in size, frame rate or format, the clips are re-encoded to one common format, which takes about as long as the videos play.

Clips of different shapes

The first video sets the size of the result. A clip with a different shape, such as a vertical phone video after a landscape one, is fitted inside that frame with black bars so nothing is cut off. To change the shape of the whole result afterwards, use Resize Video.

Large files and browser memory

All the clips are held in your browser's memory while they are joined. Everyday phone clips work well. Many long or 4K videos can run out of memory, most often on phones. If it fails, close other tabs or try it on a computer.
