Why it is quick and the quality stays the same

The tool does not re-encode the picture. It copies the video stream into a new file and leaves out the audio, so the result looks exactly like the original and is usually ready in seconds. Only the main video track is kept: subtitle and data tracks, and any extra video tracks, are left out. The file also gets a little smaller, because the audio is gone.

Large files and browser memory

Each video is loaded into your browser's memory while it is processed, one at a time. Everyday phone and screen recordings work well. Very large files can fail, most often on phones or with many tabs open. If one fails, close other tabs or try it on a computer.
